The core concept behind Firefly Network Services is simple: provide small businesses with the same level of technology support typically only available to large corporate clients.
With this goal in mind, Firefly was designed and built around four key concepts:
Availability Each client is assigned a primary consultant who is on call 24/7. If that consultant is busy, the call fails over to a secondary consultant or to the owner of the company.
Responsiveness It doesn't matter whether the problem is a broken mouse or a crashed server. A work stoppage at a small business is lost revenue and the need to resolve the problem is immediate. We use a sophisticated remote access software system to immediately interact with a user's desktop and solve the problem.
While we love being able to solve a problem over the phone, we also believe in the human touch. For non-emergencies, we still like to come into the office. This gives us a chance to check backup systems, talk with users, and discuss long term plans.
Planning for the Worst The current trend among computer consultants is to charge clients a monthly fee for "scheduled maintenance" Too many times, the fancy reports generated by such system are unnecessary or go unread. We don't believe in automating such systems. Instead, we spend a few minutes a week checking core critical systems like backups, security updates, and overall server health. Using these core factors to check the pulse of your network goes a long way in protecting your business without having to pay and arm and a leg for it.
Accountability We don't believe in making our clients sign contracts, service agreements, or pay a monthly fees for 'maintainance agreements'. If a client is not satisfied with the quality of our service they free to simply not call us. We have a 95% client retention rate.
We provide network support and computer consulting to small businesses that range from a single user to forty-five users spread over multiple offices.
While our computer consultants generally work with professional service providers like attorneys and architects, we love to work with any small businesses.
